I have to resurrect this thread. Bob, did you have to do a lot of finishing of the inletting?

Absolutely a beautiful piece!
Thanks Birddog1911. The barrel and ramrod channel/ ramrod hole were all done. The lock mortise needed work to fit it in and the barrel tang inlet was very basic. The butt plate was not bad as they did a good job with the basic cuts for me to dress and fit the plate on. The trigger assembly inlet needed much work as well, but no issues on any of these areas. None of the furniture such as trigger guard, side plate or thimbles were done thankfully. As a kit build It went smoothly. (The biggest challenge was lining up the tang bolt with the trigger plate boss. I did a little thread on that).
