A Jack Brooks Leman, with faux stripes...

This thread came at a very good time. A friend gave me a used 1"x32"x 50 cal. Douglas barrel he had. I was thinking about building a full stock Hawken around it but I think I'll go with a Leman stock from Pecatonica. I've always been leery of precarved stocks but the reviews here sound good. According to their website the LOP is up to 15 1/2". I have quite a few spare parts I can use up at the same time.

I would like to see it when you are done.
