Last weekend my bud's wife went to thier Woman's Primitive event.

She brought her father-in-laws 45 cal cap gun. (he is my good friend).

I'd check the firearm out 2 weeks before, cleaned it, shot it and inspected it.

It was his fathers 1970s rifle.

When she got to the range, the woman incharge would not let her shoot it, because she could not remove the nipple.

She said it was too old to shoot, it was from the 1940s, and the gray powder was smokeless and would blow up her gun.

Funny when we were shooting it with that brand new can of American Pioneer powder, we didnt have a problem.

Idiots stopped a budding shooter from enjoying her new found hobby.

Thats ok, now i can to find her a junior sized cap gun of her own, but it has to be a new one.

Instead of being ****** and trying to insult people, find out more about that club. It could be that blackpowder club doesn't allow substitute powders, black powder only. Ask some questions before insulting others. Le Grand

What kind of percussion gun comes with a nipple that cannusing Black Powder? Am. Pioneer is designed for used in cartridge guns. While it will shoot in most percussion guns, you would do better, and save some money shooting true black powder. Powder was being sold at Friendship, Monday, for $11.00 per pound for Goex. Swiss was $17.00. That is still cheaper than what people are paying for the subs.
