Hey Muzzleloading forum!

I have just bought a PH Enfield rather cheap for 400 dollars.

Specs:
Barrel Length: 840 mm
Total Length: 1250 mm
S/N: 7923
Marked "BP" on top with a crown

and have some questions about the firearm

How many rifles did Parker Hale reproduce (serial number wise) from 1970's to 1980's ? Or just an estimate ...

I see my own is number 7923, and would also like to hear if it is correct.

Also wanted to know if this is made in England or Italy, since ive heard that Parker Hale sold their pattern to Euroarms.

Thank you in advance, and if there is something else on the rifle I should know about, please notifie me :)

We sold LOADS of brand new REAL Parker Hale models in the 1970's-80's at the North South Skirmish Association Spring and Fall National Championships. So, I've seen a very large number of stocks. I have to say that is one of the best stocks for wood figure that I've seen.

Congratulations.

Gus

Forgot to post the last picture with the serial number. Here it is

But thanks for all the information, really appreciate it.

Though, cause of the gun laws in Denmark, I can first get the rifle when i get my permit. And the system here is so slow. Therefore I think I will first aqurie it in April next year. Kind of a bummer, but lookin forward to it

Beautiful rifle sir. Good things come to those who wait… (6 months would be killing me!)

I just recently purchased a Parker Hale 3 band as well.
Serial number 4235
What year would it have been made?

c1976. If you ever remove barrel from stock, after the proof load information there will be a tiny code of two letters and a number between crossed swords or within a circle. Let me know this and I confirm the year the barrel was proofed.
