    What type of paper is the best to use for making paper cartridges? Thanks Joe

    Paper before 1850 will be rag paper and form more easily than post 1850 possible wood pulp paper and the sizing has long gone. May be of no help to you but around here second hand bookshops etc. have unsaleable pre 1850 books (usually some turgid religious tome) for just a euro or two which yield plenty of nice strong soft paper and period to boot. That is what I use anyway. Last buy was an 1835 dictionary which has 796 pages which will last a while........
