They are a swamp creature, and I've never been to hunt them, only to be a guest at a dinner where Sika was served. I would jump at the chance though. They get pretty big... for Sika that is.

Done a bit of research on the swamp elk and hunting them in Maryland on the eastern shore, my take is you definetly need a outfitter or a ton of time to scout available public lands, Have contacted a few outfitters seems most are booked out far in advance.
