Origins of chili con carne

My Grandfather said, "Lonestar Beer taste like wet towsacks smell!" Then again, he drank Schlitz. He lived in Gladewater, Texas and since there was a Schlitz Brewery in Longview he felt that he was getting a good Local beer. I miss that ole Man.

Your grandfather was being kind about the taste of Lonestar beer. I love Texas, but that beer was beyond description.

Burrito con papas. Muy authentico!
Our friends from our South Texas annex like them, but, despite my Irish blood, I prefer frijoles and arroz.
But it's hard to make a bad burrito!
Especially with queso fresco, pico de gallo, and guacamole!
Now I'm hungry. Taco Time!
