Hello everyone, here’s what l have from top (1) to bottom (5). 1 1861, 3 1863’s, and an 1822 conversion.
1) Model 1861, made by Springfield Armory ln 1862. Amazing condition. Lock has clear and deep markings “1862” and “US SPRINGFIELD” below clear and deep eagle marking. Barrel dated 1862 and has proper “VP over eagle”. Proper 3 initial cartouche on left flat. “US” on buttplate. “u” on clamps. Period correct ramrod. Mechanically strong. Everything ls as lt should be.
