II have an .11ga half stock, caplock, English fowler that i recently bought on here because i couldn't find a flinter. Just yesterday i bought a flinter so i am going to sell this one. It has a bout 160 years of Patina on the barrel and lock but the bore is good and the inside parts on the lock look almost like new.I took it out the other day and fired it some even though i didn't have any .11ga wads or rd balls. I punched out some cardboard wads that were 7/8" but they were a bit to large. But i managed to seat them with the 3/4" dowel rod i whittled down to fit the bore, which i will include with gun. Makes loading really easy and you ain't going to break it. lol I started with 65gr 2f Goex, and 1oz of shot. Then 70gr Goex and 1 1/8 oz, and finally 80gr Goex and 1 1/4oz. Patterns weren't bad at 25 yds but i am sure could be improved with load work and the right size wads. Next i tried a leather patched .648 rd ball. Way too small a ball i know, but the biggest i had. Over 80gr Goex first shot was centered but about 6-7'' high at 25yds. Second shot with different sight picture was right on. I know these could be made better with a .735 ball. I want $360 + actual shipping
