Smallest one I've ever seen. Appears to be about 36 caliber. Trigger drops when the cock is drawn back. Everything works. $750.00 PLUS $25.00 PRIORITY MAIL SHIPPING. SOLD

Is that a seam between two pieces of metal? Lots of shotguns have a top rib joined near the action. Usually doesn’t show itself until it has been stressed.

Ok you’ve got me confused. If it’s a purposeful fit, then it’s structural. If it’s a crack due to metal age, then…I’m not trying to be difficult, I’m trying to understand people who know more than I do.

IMO, it shouldn't matter much...….

It seems unreasonable to expect a 200 years old item to be perfect; so it is what it is - if the price is right for someone, they should considering buying it.

Myself, I think it's very cool.
