Another one from the collection...

Beautiful Yataghan sword bayonet with brass handle, steel crossguard with quillion. Maker/Armory marked on spine of blade. Handsome patina on blade with original blued-steel scabbard. Scabbard and bayonet numbers match. Bayonet barrel spring-lever (attach/release) action works smoothly. Approximately 22.5” blade, approximately 27 3/4” overall length.

Patina has not changed much in the 40 years that I have owned it. I have left it as is, but it would polish up very nicely, if you were so inclined. Blade makes a lovely “bell-tone” when you tap it. It comes “ringing” out of the scabbard when you draw it. Blade and scabbard fit is perfect and secure/tight, yet with easy draw motion
