Hello,
I bought this early Dixie Gun Works Philadelphia Derringer recently, and am working on making it usable again. The stock is in bad shape around the barrel wedge key, lots of cracks and poor crooked inletting on very thin wood. Does anyone happen to have an extra stock I could buy? I’d prefer to avoid having to make one from scratch at the moment. Here’s the original box and the size of the stock I currently have for identification. Thanks.

The Deer Creek are the CVA versions and a little bigger than this one. I think it looks more like the Pedersoli version. Look for any Italian marks on the barrel. Dixie had a lot of Belgian stuff in the early days so you may be out of luck. You can always use accraglass to repair the wood.

Did you contact Dixie to see if they had one?
