Well, since it's October, we are going to shoot a Halloween postal target - what did you expect?!

This Jack O' Lantern target will be 10 shots - 2 at each Jack O' Lantern. Scoring as follows:

Hit in eyes or nose = 8 points
Mouth = 5 points
Hit either one of the two teeth = 10 points (20 points if you hit both teeth)
Anywhere else on the Jack O' Lantern = 2 points

One half of the ball must be inside the scoring area to count.

Shoot this as many times as you wish but only turn in your best target. Range is 25 yards offhand. Please list pertinent informaition on your target so we all can see what everyone is using to shoot the target. Pistol shooters shoot from 15 yards.

Please score your target by listing points next to each pumpkin and total the score. I will confirm your scores after you post your targets and list the winners!

Let's have some fun with this!

Gary

I didn't intend to sow confusion over the October target, but mine printed unusually small (73%). To avoid that problem, print yours at 100%. Btw, I'm toying with using a smoothbore just to see whether I can hit the eyes/nose or maybe even a tooth or two.

And thanks, Gary for providing the correct dimensions as my printouts seemed a bit small.

Thanks Maven - always print the targets full size - don't select fit-to-page or scale-to-fit.

I try to fill most of an 8.5 x 11" page without leaving large margins.

one punkin face covering the whole page, and i might hit it!
probably hit this months target if i get powder burns on the paper! sometimes you are the marksman and sometimes you are the target! this month so far i feel like a pumpkin .
Maybe for December, as a gift to all of us older fellows with marginal eyesight, I will make a bigger target that we can better see and hit!

Got 10 holes on the target. That nice group below upper left was from 3 different pumpkins!
