Here's a contest with a twist that might SPOOK some of ya. :haha:

5 shots at 25 yards.

The target is a 8.5" x 11" sheet of typing/printer paper with a one-inch circle drawn in the exact center. Around the one-inch circle is a 3-inch circle.

Any hits completely or partially inside the one-inch circle will be scored from the center of the hole to the center of the target.

Any hits completely OUTSIDE of the 3-inch circle will also be scored from the center of the hole to the center of the target.

Now for the spooky part...
Any hits completely or partially inside the 3-inch circle (cutting the line counts as inside), which do not fall inside or cut the line of the one-inch circle will be scored from center of hole to center of target PLUS THREE INCHES!

Careful now! The Hollow-Tween the circles will get ya!

BWAHAHAHA!!!

5 Shots at the center of a 8.5" x 11" printer paper with a 1" and a 3" circle drawn in the exact center at 25 yards.

Each shot will be measured from center of target to center of hole. These 5 measurements (plus penalties) will be added together for your score.

The center of the target will be determined by the judge.

Be safe and have fun! :hatsoff:

If you know where to print one with both a 1" and 3" circle that will be fine. Otherwise you can just draw one or even use some of those dot stickers. Whatever works for you.

An official overlay will be used for scoring purposes.

The target that Dutch Schoultz supplies with the "Black Powder Rifle Accuracy System" is a 3" black circle. The 10 ring is 1". His target template has 5 bulls with one being in the center of the paper. That 10 ring is pretty elusive at 25 yds. offhand.

I thought I would just use a doughnut as a template O, Dang this one won't work guess I'll have to eat it  Oh noooo this one as well....guess I shouldn't have gotten bearclaws

Target is in the mail!

About time I got into another shoot.

Grats fellers. Good shootin'. :hatsoff: Thanks for playing.

Musta spooked a bunch of regular competitors off. :haha:

Congratulations to the winners! :hatsoff: from both continents! I wanted to get in on this one, but sometimes life gets in the way of target shooting.
