To clarify the rules for this one, is it OK to shoot the large center bullseye? The little ones don't show up at 25 yards for me.
Yup! absolutely! Also, I see that I didn't actually clarify range. This is a 25 yard target so shots taken at 25 yard please. Zonie, or other Mod; if you can edit my original post to add that please do.

Hi, Is this a hand gun competition or is it ok to shoot rifles?

This is any open sighted muzzleloading firearm. percussion revolvers included. So as long as your rifle is open sight as indicated in the rules, a rifle is good. Just remember, off hand no bracing the rifle with anything other than your body.

My target is in the mail. Shot a fairly nice group for me offhand. There are 5 holes but two are almost in the same hole. Have to look close. :D Unfortunately an inch or two to the left. Need to adjust that sight. :(

Shot mine yesterday as well, Dave. And surprise! surprise! I was able to actually see and hit that target. Although I did OK, I think I need to consider wiping the bore after every shot for accuracy's sake as I was getting a few hits where I didn't want them to be.

Well Paul surprise surprise!! The sun was actually out yesterday!! I actually got in a rain free bow hunt as well. Supposed to clear this afternoon so I am going to grab the bow and head out again.

I am looking forward to shooting this one, but need some rain first, half way through Nov. and still no rain. I do not need a Calif. fire name after me.

if you don't mind the target showing up in june or july, ill see if i can get out. we have a postal strike going on now and there does not seem to be an end in sight

:eek:Well alrighty then!!

We'll give you an honorable mention if you cant get it to me in time.

Rhino Dave your target arrived. You are on the board.

I shot mine and then didn't get it mailed. My bad because I'm in Colorado and can't reach it from here to mail it. Count me as interested in the shoots so don't stop. The shoots are good motivation for me to get out and burn some powder. I really appreciate the effort to put on these shoots.
