I could not post a pic in the classifieds no matter what I did on my smart phone. I decided to try using the computer, same pic and it went right up.

Ive been watching the classifieds. Yes, it was nice having pictures for the latest 6 or 8 ads visible right at the top. But, when I open the accessories section, Wow, there's a picture of Horner75's beautiful Rev. War horn, and more pictures when I open his ad. When I open the firearms section, lots of pictures there.
Really the only thing "wrong" that I see is the number for how many ads are in a section. Been that way quite a while, oh well, not the end of the world.

I just checked the 4 latest ads that have pictures posted. I found the pictures in 3 of the ads to be so poor even when enlarged as to be nearly worthless. After all this time I believe the problems with the classifieds should have been resolved.

I for one would like to see better pics in the classifieds, too. Even be willing to spend some coin to see an updated format, like the older one under Claude's ownership. BF

Please put a link to an ad with bad photos so I can inspect it.

    Thanks

Here you go, just look, it is bad in most of them http://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/pp-classifieds/index.php

Some of them are better if you enlarge them, some not.
Maybe it is the way we are uploading our images?
Maybe from a phone. I don’t know. But someone must know.

We are all having trouble with our pictures and it seems the administrators are doing little to solve the problem.

As 2kuz, 2 posts above yours is the administrator and owner of the forum, it's pretty obvious he's trying to fix the problem.

As anyone who has been on a computer knows, fixing some things isn't an easy task so the best thing we can do is to keep our fingers crossed and hope he can figure out what the exact problem is and then figure out how to fix it.

Your link is incomplete and doesn't work.

Which ad is is supposed to link us to?

A description of the gun and/or the sellers name that is shown in the ad would help.

That is about as bad as any I've seen so far.

Too bad someone doesn't know how to fix this and relay the information to 2kuz.

If I remember right the classifieds are on a different server? Yes?
If that is so, if they are not satisfactory and don’t care, then use a server that is.

I know that I don’t know anything about running a forum.

I have run/owned a number of businesses, if any of my business contacts were slack or shoddy.
Well if they didn’t care, I replace them.

Again, I don’t know anything about running a forum. Wish I could help.

    NO.

I don't mean to speak for the new owner, but the Classifieds are NOT on a different server. They are one the same server, but using different software than the Forum.

    This was answered above.
