Hello all from central Texas, just acquired a .50 cal flintlock made by S.B. Friedman. Rifle has a swamped Goetz barrel and a Jim Chambers Siler left hand lock. Just need info of when and where this rifle was made, any information will be appreciated.

Nothing personal but not for sale! I’ve been hunting with cap locks for 45 years and also compete in BPCR for 20 years.

I was mostly joking. As a south paw I shot RH muzzleloaders for decades before building a LH Early Lancaster from a blank. I recently bought a LH 14 bore.
Enjoy the forum. 👍

Welcome from Maine. For better results, ask that question in the flintlock section of the forum.
