Decided to join to learn a bit about flintlocks. Have fooled with caplocks for a lot of years. Originally to take advantage of Michigan's muzzleloading season. (Way back in the '70's when it was roundball only) I put together an old style CVA Mountain Rifle, CVA two piece "Kentucky" kit and a Lyman Great plains kit. Now the flintlock bug has struck. I am waiting on a Kibler "Woodsrunner", just for fun.
