Kinda yes / kinda no
The barrel screws off but as best I can tell you actually load it with the barrel on.

The pistol referred to is the currently sold Pedersoli screw barrel pistol where the frame has a pocket where powder and ball is loaded and then the barrel is screwed onto the frame using a special supplied tool. When fully cocked, the trigger flips out from the frame. The Classic Arms New Orleans Ace pistol that your selling is a muzzleloader. What's nice about the New Orleans Ace pistol is that it is super easy to clean as the barrel is simply screwed off the frame.
