Hey folks,
I just found this forum from another muzzleloading forum. I used to shoot and hunt BP all the time, took some years off because of life, now trying to get back in the game, looking forward to all the talk and knowledge to gain from the members here. Currently I have a Traditions Penn Long Rifle (style) in .50 and a T/C Hawken (style) in .50, really enjoy them both. I am not opposed to expanding my stable however, there is some beautiful stuff out there. Got rid of my 1851 Navy and 1860 Army (both were brass framed Piettas) close to 20 years ago, ahhh, regrets, but it's never too late to ramp back up I guess. Anyway, glad to be here.

Welcome from the "Tarheel State" (NC). Right down the road from you in the Bacon Castle countryside, the Olde Virginia Primitive Mountain Men hold their semi-annual OVPR Rendezvous in March and October. Be sure to touch base with them.
