My main interest is cannons and mortars, I have a 1/2 scale Napoleon, 2" bore, which I double sleeved and one golf ball mortar I made that I have left.
Currently working on a another one that will need a 1" or slightly less diameter round ball projectile. Any hints on where I might find a mold ?

These are not plugged pipes but lathe turned parts using seamless tubes and machined parts.
Thanks for any info .... :)

A guy can sure have a lot of fun with some of those. I built a mortar once and couldn't figure out what to shoot out of it, and finally went through Wal Mart with a tape measure. I ended up buying a bunch of larger sized cans of chicken noodle soup, and they worked just fine most of the time. You could barely see them heading up in the air, and they actually would reach out a pretty good distance....usually. Now and then you wouldn't see anything, but you could sure smell some chicken in the air......
