I've been collecting mil-surps for a number of years and now looking to learn about muzzleloaders. I come from a long line of fur traders starting in Trois-Rivières, Canada in the 1600's through Mackinaw Island and on into Minnesota and South Dakota (where I was born). I'll probably start with a North West gun made if I can find someone who knows how to make these. Really looking forward to learning about flintlocks and the whole muzzleloading thing.

Welcome to the forum; a very informative site where most everyone is willing to help each other with any questions they may have.

Welcome from the south bay area - enjoy your muzzleloading experience :hatsoff:
