Just found this forum recently and sure glad I did. I've been a long time muzzleloader, trekker, hunter and participant of rendezvous. I also dabble in knife making and other accouterments. However I drifted away from the muzzleloader life for awhile. Happily I have two grandsons ages 7 and 12 who really want to learn about and participate in the muzzleloader world. So a happy grandpa jumped in with both feet just prior to Covid19 hitting. Look forward to attending rendezvous again with grandsons in tow. Look forward to learning a lot on this forum and maybe contribute a little also. Keep the powder dry!

Hi and welcome from northern New Mexico! There are a lot of really terrific folks here that are more than willing to share their knowledge. All you have to do is ask. Extra credit points to you for getting your grandsons involved! Without new blood, this or any other sport will eventually die.
