I think you did a great job. I really like that you got rid of the brass spacer in the middle of the stock. I had thought about building one of these and replacing the brass spacer with wood the same thickness so the nose cap would still line up. Then maybe do the finish in a trade rifle finish that is painted and vines painted on. Here are some Clay Smith guns done like I am talking about.
