Looking to put together a New England Fowler. I have a barrel, lock, butt plate, and trigger guard from my early Virginia fowler. I was going to attempt to make a stock from a plank. Since my arthritis kicked up I've changed my mind. I will go with a pre-carved without the lock inlet. Besides the lock and barrel which of the metal pieces can I use, or should I replace them all?
