That’s really cool. Do they ever bother anything or case trouble?
maybe once in 6-7 years they will break in to a shed or something. most often all we see of them is their claw marks on our apple trees and bushels of scat under the trees!
I swear an apple goes through a bear in seconds!
only ever had one event with a sorehead black bear. i came away with a limp and a brain tanned hide. i pat it on the head every morning and say "good morning ---hole"

You folks in Northern Idaho still have lots of bears? We had a bunch between Weiser, McCall, and Garden Valley when I lived there. Polecat
yes Dale we still have plenty of bears of both persuasions. there 3-4 black bears i know within a 2 mile radius of the house. griz when ever and where ever they want to be.
this gal is outside eating clover as i type. did i mention i want to be buried right here?

just to tie this into muzzleloading, i was shooting at that 50 yard gong (orange plate) yesterday and that doe was eating down range and to the left. never batted an eye.
good grief! now the turkey's are invading. who next? Big Foot? that screen i had to put up to keep LBB's from committing kamikaze strikes on my windows. just a zoo here.

please tell me it was with a muzzleloader and that will justify this thread! that one has been eating better than that little one this morning.

It was a reply to the bear thread not a gun thread 😊

The unmentionable in the background has become a hanger queen, this fall it’s the .50 or the 20ga SxS for everything..
