A while back a member here offered to send me some river cane for making a few powder measures. Well for some reason I never received it, I’d still like to have some... if anyone is near some and can grab me a stalk that is half way dry I’d surely apprecieate it. I’d pay for it along with shipping.

River cane is still common in the South but is disappearing in much of its original range. It is very good stuff for powder measures, blowguns and more. I now live in the far North and can't get it myself. I had plenty laid-by but it failed to make the move with us. If I still had it I be glad to send you as much as you wanted. Sorry; maybe another member can supply it.
