I am downsizing my collection of firearms and need help identifying this .45 Caliber percussion rifle. The rifle measures 48" long and has an unmarked 23" inch barrel. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

IMO (worth exactly what you pay for it), it looks like a de-farbed Traditions Kentucky Rifle that's had the barrel & forestock shortened & the butt decorated (tastefully, also IMO).

I agree with much of what Pietro stated. Also, several companies sold basically the same rifle in the early 70s that were made by Jukar in many cases. I think CVA sold them unmarked as kits during the time. I built one from a kit back then, but the barrel was longer.

This rifle looks EXACTLY like my .45 CVA Kentucky I built in about 1975, down to the markings on the lock, design of the stock and barrel pin locations, trigger guard and everything else.

I remember the barrel being marked 'Jukar' as well.

It resembles an early CVA/Jukar From the 70's, but the rear sight is wrong and the barrel length is wrong. Maybe someone altered it, but there were a couple other companies that made copies. Pedersoli and Miroku to name two. I think Armi-sport also made one for a couple years too.

The eyes must have been playing tricks on me. Yes it is 33 1/2.

That is the CVA/ Jukar length.

Jukar made some of the most accurate barrels ever made. They were inexpensive guns sold by Sears and Montgomery wards, but they were great shooters.

They are very good hunting/target rifles and yours has indeed been "re-worked". Not a fine rifle but still very serviceable.

Typo 32"? That is the jukar length is it not?
I have the Jukar and the barrel is 33 1/2. Mine is stamped on the left side of the barrel ( Jukar then the serial # and the Spain) Great shooter at 50 yards with 5 shots I get a 3 inch group until I broke the front sight now it shots 3 inch high. Here are some photos of it when I was out Deer hunting.
