Didn't want to step on Mulebrain's post, but this 8 gauge SxS I just bought at auction looks very similar and is similarly unmarked, per auction description. The silver ring around breeches, triggerguard and mark on top of breech are very close to Mulebrain's. Other than a crack in stock between trigger guard and side plate (easy fix), it appears to be in VG shape. I should have it in a week or so.

nice gun, cant wait to hear how she shoots :)

Looks to me the gun was fitted with a grip safety looking at the image and fitted with a different trigger guard, use a moderate charge on account of the crack

OK. The beast has arrived. Only marks in underside of barrel are ELG in oval and 22.6. hammers have slightly different engraving, but same profile. Replacement or factory boo-boo? Crack has a brass or copper pin. Needs to be glued and screwed from inside lock mortice. Bores are good with typical pinprick pitting. All in all, a real nice, solid piece. Now I have to find out what it is worth. Unsold comps seem high.
