This is a beautifully maintained and - wait for it - likely unfired Armi Sport KENTUCKIAN percussion rifle in. 44. Condition easily 98% or better with few handling marks. Bore in 35" barrel is pristine. Wood has a nice figure. Toe has brass reenforced buttplate. Nice feature. Light rifle mounts well. $450 Shipped.

How cool! I have one of these from 1967. 35.5” barrel. Lightweight and a sweet shooter. I have shot up to .440 prb through mine, so I call it my “.44/.45” :) My uncle had it as a wallhanger for about 20 years, before I traded it off of him about 21 years ago. I don’t believe it had been fired until I did it. I have never been able to find a manufacturer’s mark on mine (just the importer’s name, “Intercontinental Arms, Inc.”). Pics of mine below. It is also the middle rifle in my avatar photo.

Someone should snap this up!

So what diameter projectile?
I have used .430, .433, and .440 prb in mine. Mine is also marked “.44” but the .430 and .433 loaded pretty easily with a .015 patch, so I tried the .44 roundball with either a .010 patch or .015 (I don’t recall) and it loaded and shot fine, as well. (.44 round balls are easier to find sometimes.) I am perfectly comfortable shooting any of them in mine.

I'm in the same boat as you fellas. I've been watching this for days. I bet if the other guys and I hadn't sent our money to some crook overseas when Rifleman had his account hacked, I would have dropped the hammer already.
Very nice rifle BigSky!
