I purchased these two percussion pistols years ago in a pawn shop from $25.00 for the pair. The longer barreled pistol is, I think, a 22 caliber. The shorter barreled gun is a 32 caliber and very crude. The lock has no fly and seems poorly made to me. Both barrels appear to have either been reamed out. There are faint traces of rifling in the 32 caliber barrel, and the 22 barrel is just smooth. The photos are of the 22 caliber gun and lock. In the photo showing the top of the gun you can see a screw. That screw is the rear sight. I think these were probably someones basement project many years ago, but am unsure. Te lock has some initials on the front and a number on the inside of the lock. If I can find some roundballs of the correct size (whatever that may be) I may try and shoot the 22 caliber gun. It pops a cap just fine.

Any thoughts, ideas, information etc. I will also listen to any derisive comments on me buying any cheap, although interesting blackpowder guns i can find.................
