Well I just got my 50 cal Traditions Kentucky rifle delivered and it turned out fantastic. The guy who finished the kit for me did a great job. No way could I have made it look so good.

That's a sweet-looking rifle, right there. I'm interested to hear how it shoots with that peep sight.

I'll let you know when I get a chance to go to the range. Right now the weather for the next 10 days is either raining or snowing.

I hear ya there. Winter is glum as all get out here, too.
To try to counter that, i've made winter my swapping season, and the warmer months my shooting season.
 
I wonder why they started with that brass shim in the stock. Why not mill out a whole stock from a longer piece of wood rather than have two pieces?
