Hello all, l have an original 3rd Model Brown Bess that l would like the experts to look at.
Lock has GR over crown, and “T Ketland & Co” behind the lock. The barrel has two stamps that l think are British proofs. Not sure.
What can you tell me about this thing? How are they dated? l don’t see a date like l would on a Springfield. ls their any stock cartouches l should look for?
Just want to know as much as l can about what l have. Thx
