Here is my latest hawk. I forged the head from a railroad spike the handle was an old table leg and some copper pipe.

Very nice!....But! why do people always feel the need to torch the handle wood? Is it HC/PC?

It's a little narrow where the handle goes into the head...
Nice work on the head, not to fond of your handle there but if you like it, that's all that matters. :thumbsup:

I agree not a lot of metal to work with on the railroad spikes. I have some thicker metal for the next one.
