Was going true some old pics and found this. I got it from Hern iron works bought 4 years ago and never had the time to make the carriage the proper way so i settled on this. Just woke up one day and said this is the day we get the cannon to shoot. It's a bought as accurate as a blind man playing darts after a 12 pack, but it is a hoot to shoot and sure is Mobil. Swampy suggested putting it on a swivel :hmm: It's a half scale napoleon and shoots golf balls. Had to do a little body work on the jeep to make it cannon capable :grin:
 
Its just a shooter, not an accruate historical replica. I think you've found a great solution. You now have a "self propelled" artillery peice!
 
nice and yes like you i lucky if i can hit a 4 foot circle at 300 yards twice
but what fun cannons are to shoot it already mid march and i burned 2 pounds of powder
