I need some ideas on a double barrel , muzzle loading shotgun for cowboy action. Please post pics if you have.I am also looking to purchase a used sxs muzzle losding shotgun if you have any for sale.

A side by side ML shotgun and a double barrel ML shotgun are the same thing and neither would be of use in CAS as you very seldom shoot 2 rounds, it's usually 4 and sometime
many more and you'd be loading on the clock. A side by side hammer gun is what you would want with black powder shotshells. If your interested in Cowboy Action, go to a shoot and you'll see what others are using. You may see some cap and ball revolvers but no muzzleloaders. :winking:

You would be more cowboy correct if you hade something like this, damascus barrels were also used doring that era...

Double barrel shotgun marked T. Barker. No. 188.
Seized during Taylorville Mine Wars.

While there's no PC requirements in cowboy shooting, some cowboys still like to be PC andf thats exactly the kind of guns they shoot. Here's an old 10 ga. I shoot sometime.
