  • Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.

We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.

I don't understand the capitalized letters.
The letters ALR refer to the American Longrifles Forum. The ambiance there is a little different from here, maybe geared more toward collectors and builders. More discussion of originals and custom guns, and little or no discussion of modern imports and mass-produced reproductions. Maybe more "scratch builders," and somewhat less discussion of building from kits. No discussion at all of Civil War guns or revolvers. There are some great people there, very knowledgeable and happy to share information.

Here is a link, which I hope is "legal" to insert. If not, Moderators please delete as appropriate: American Longrifles Forum
