Who did you order it from and how is the overall build quality?
I ordered the least expensive one, as it was simply the metal portion alone. I'm pretty sure the ones in the photos are all the same piece, just with different degrees of "completion". It's three pieces, welded, then the exterior weld seams are filed down, and the exterior is then buffed. It's seems solid enough, but I don't think I can squeeze it to make the opening oval enough to take my grape.

If somebody is still looking for a helmet alternative to the Morion, the Sturmhaube is being offered on www.drakkaria.cz which is made in Europe and is a correct replica made in a country that actualy did participate in the 30YW and is made to European reenactmen standards. Not fantasy carneval stuff from Pakistan.

They also have a couple different kinds of sallet, which would be appropriate for an earlier arquebusier.

They have their own blacksmith, so I believe its also possible to order something different. And they will probably also know how that thing should look like. They do supply equipment for combat reenactment/fencing aswell. I ordered a viking axe from them and was happy with the quality. Edit: speaking of morions, here is one from the Saxon Guardia :

While not a musketeer helmet, Czerny’s has this incredibly cool cavalry helmet in the shape of a cavalier hat. I knew Cuirassiers/harquebusiers would sometimes have a small helmet under their hats, but this is next level!
