This shows how the forum is… there are some real good people. Others are just trolls. They’ll run down another man’s gun or whatever. Snarky comments. Ignore them.

Gun looks good to me. However, I have c&b revolvers I don’t shoot good luck though. Nice gun.

I think what you guys aren't taking into account is that this classified ads subforum reaches a lot more eyes than just the eyes of the members. Look at the differences in search engine results.

For a collector looking for an "excellent" condition instance of a Colt 2nd gen Navy for sale:

His ad is nowhere to be seen on the first page. Even dropping the "excellent" search term it's still not there:

But this morning, he edited his post to add the term "LNIB" and look what happened to the search results:

His ad is now at the very top of the first page!!

Terms ARE important when advertising. You have to use terms that possible buyers will be using as search terms, and avoid terms that they wouldn't be looking for.

When you want to appeal to collectors, who are the buyers most willing the pay the best price, you have to use condition terms that have objectively-defined meanings that they all know and understand and use. They won't be searching using subjective terms like "minty".

Don't worry about a word like minty. Your pictures say it all. Sell them how you want and collectors can tell from the pictures what they are getting. They can request more pictures or information if they want. As for NRA grading most don't know how to do it anyways. You always do well with your sales as you post them. I have done business with you and was pleased. Keep up the good work and ignore the people who complain and take over the posts. Mods should remove their comments.
