This is just plain perfect. 100% blue. Like new satin finish stock. Mint, unfired bore. If I had the box and papers it would pass as NIB. I cannot find the .54 in their catalog, so maybe they no longer make them? Asking $300 SHIPPED. New .50s are $299+Shipping and mostly out of stock.

Nice practical rifle for hunting. I unlike most here, like Traditions and have had very few problems with the ones I've owned over the years. Too bad for me funds are short right now.

I have two Traditions guns. A .32 Crockett and a .50 cal hawkin style. Neither is gorgeous but both shoot exceedingly well. I've not had a bad experience with either I don't think.

Someone please buy this...I really want to stick with .50 cal...so tempting!

Btw...what does it measure across the flats?

Barrel twist is marked on the barrel just below Springfield Hawken , "54 caliber-twist 1: xx
