How did you form the stock for the barrel? Did you have any shortcuts, or did you carve it out with hand tools?

How did you build the barrel? Did you turn it down from a thick walled tube? Or did you heat up the bands and shrink them onto the barrel?

I want to build one of these in the next two years. I always liked the idea of breech-loading medieval cannons.
