Finally got to shot mine a few days ago. Slowly workin' out the loads on the BP rifles. Shot this one with the TC Hawken in .54cal.
Mailing target out today.
Fun stuff!
Someday I hope to actually put all the required rounds on the target.šŸ˜

Well, this target whipped me, used my new SMR in .32 and couldnā€™t get it to shoot where I wanted it using a 6 oā€™clock hold. Kept shooting low. I did nick one fish in the fin:thumb:
After I finished this target I turned the front sight around and immediately could see it more clearly. Shot a practice group at 25 yds offhand and did much better - 3 shots into 3/4ā€ and the 4th opened it to 2.25ā€. Looking forward to next month!

June Target, 58 caliber, Bridesburg 1863. Found out it shoots high at 25 yards. .570 ball, .015 patch, 40 grains OE FFF.
