Some time back someone gave some tips on fitting the locks to barrel and tang, on resurrecting the double barreled flint shot gun.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on this topic.
I tried the "search" with no luck.

A while back, I was looking into this same kind of project. I dug through my files & finally found a couple copies of old threads. I am not computer literate to post links, but I was able to locate the first. Perhaps someone else can post a link from what I found.
Otony,in his post #17, asked 'Anyone ever use a modern barrel for a smoothbore?'. The date was 12-21-11, (Topic#264434) in the Smoothbore section.
Zonie, in his post #15036, 05-13-10 post #856736, replied to 'panther' about breaching a modern barrel. The heading on that page is 'unbreached 20ga. shotgun barrels - Traditional Muzzleloading Forum - Muzzleloading Flin...
