A couple more pictures of your lyman trade gun would very much appreciated. I recently bought a nice one at the local gun show, but certainly isn't as handsome as yours.
Nice gun.

The Lyman TR is a great gun. It was my first muzzleloader (flintlock) and it has taken more deer than my modern scoped rifle.

Is yours 50 cal? My 50 cal load was 80 grains FFFg with .490 ball and .020" pre-lubed patches. Honestly I never tried anything else because that worked just fine.

[/img] Wanted a .54 but really liked the Wood on this .50 Cal. The shooting Bag is the one My late Uncle carried and the Horn was made by my Son. Hope they bring me luck in the Pa. late season...
