I sent Lyman an email and they got back to me within a day.
There should be box with probably two capital letters in it, like “AP,” “BD,” etc., near the proof marks and serial number, etc. if you find that, here is a chart that can help you date it. For example, I have an Italian import from 1967 with “XXIII”, a 1986 GPR with “AP”, etc. it will give you the year of manufacture.
