got off the phone with them. going to replace it with a new one.. should have it next week..
I just got mine back last week. I haven't had a chance to see if my 57 SML aperature sight will now fit. The tang inlet is better and not nearly as deep but it is certainly not flush. The sight may not mount properly. If it doesnt, I will be pushing for a full refund from lyman. This is ******** that a once reputable company has turned into this. Everything has been cheapened. It's obvious and embarrassingFirst - I have a Lyman Great Plains, and it's great but!!!!
Lyman keeps this manure up they will not longer be selling rifles.
I would demand a refund and go find something better.
This is unacceptableyes it is
all but the price you pay for it... will they refund it??? get a lawyer on them they might??? its a shame that lyman put up with it the guy i talked too said lyman wont replace it over bad inletting??? got the old finish off need to do a finale sanding on it ..I just got mine back last week.
