Would like to get my hands on a Lyman BP Handbook as
recommended, where can I find one?

With my new BP Rifle will be needing the basic supplies,
where is a good place to put my cash down on the barrel head? or online.

I agree with S.R.

The first book is good as a reference, but it's not like reloading for a cartridge rifle where there are hundreds of possible combinations of powders, bullets and primers for any cartridge. In black powder it's a prescribed amount of FFg (or an equivalent of the sissy stuff), a lead ball and a choice of two primers or a flint. After that, reading load tables is pretty dry. The above book goes into more useable information.

Buy both. What one doesn't have the other does. Lyman book is good for performance expectations from different loads. Fadala book is just plain good instruction. Heck, if you're a reader you'll end up getting both anyway.
