Just bought my first new mold for .600 round ball. It says to lube before use. How do I do this? I know there are probably a hundred ways, just want simple and getting the job done.
Thanks

You need a high temp oil. 2cyc oil works well for that. Lube sparingly as you don't want it to get down in the cavity. Lube all moving parts. I usually use a Q-tip or something like a tooth pick.

I ran some 575 balls yesterday using a brand new lee mold. Cleaned it up good and decided this was the time to try the anti sieze.

Total disaster. The sprue cutter got harder and harder to rotate. The anti sieze seemed to be working the opposite! As it is, I can't even turn the sprue plate adjustment screw. Never had this problem using plain old bullet lube to lube the mold. I must have 20 Lee molds and have never had a problem with any of them until yesterday.
