I'm from south Louisiana, yeah its hot and the Skeeters are hungry. But I'll never leave, heat is uncomfortable, but cold hurts. I winterize nothing and that wonderful to me.
I can put enough clothes on to stay warm....but I can't take off enough to stay cool! If I owned South Louisiana and Hell....I'd rent South Louisiana out and reside in Hell!!

Hahaha, I find that funny. You’re north of I-10 and thinks it hot there. I go to Clear Lake to cool off in August. The heat is not bad anymore now that everything is air conditioned. Come here in August when the power is knocked out after a storm. That‘ll be how I grew up.

Depends on what they’ve been eating. Acorns - terrible. My deer corn - ok especially charcoal cooked and w a good barbecue sauce.

I haven’t eaten wild hog in 40 years, previous to that it was fairly often. A sow or piglet is delicious. Either cooked on a spit or cut up and grilled. A boar is musty and gamey. I hope now I never eat one again because I don’t want them on my property. I cringe when a get a photo or 2 of a young boar moving through. Luckily they don’t stay, yet.
