I just wanted to share this lovely pic of the Kings 8th Regiment from last spring down in Vincennes Indiana. It is a Rendezvous they hold each year in May commemorating the victory of George Rogers Clark in taking the British fort there. Funny, but some Brits did wear blue coats... mostly the guys manning the cannons.
And to further complicate matters, some Patriot regiments wore red!!
